MMA covers the whole of France and is committed to supporting local regions and the people who live and work in them. Through our branch network and initiatives, we help develop the local economy and raise the profile of the regions.
Fostering a strong local presence
Because of this commitment to local regions, we work to maintain close relationships with our policyholders. To achieve this, we have established a local presence based on various networks designed to meet our customers’ needs:
- An extensive branch network: with 1,600 points of sale, MMA is present in cities, towns and rural areas. More than 1,000 MMA agents and some 45,000 staff work every day to support our customers. All are here to help and offer their expertise, whatever the situation(1).

MMA is a local brand that supports local development. All its staff are based in France and its tied agents are placed in the heart of local regions.
- Services 100% “Made in France”: in recognition of our commitment to regional development, we have been Service France Garanti certified since March 2022.
We successfully renewed our certification in April 2024(1). The certification, awarded following an in-depth annual audit, highlights our commitment to providing our customers and members with services and customer service 100% made in France. This attests to our contribution to supporting employment across the whole country and our desire to offer our members an increasingly simple, efficient and personalised customer experience.
- Our policyholders are best placed to explain the difference this local support makes, through a series of videos called “The time when”.
Created in 2024, they tell the stories of six agents and their customers and members in Angers, Le Mans, Quimper, Châtillon-sur-Chalaronne, Nancy and Vannes. With over 8 million views on social media, these videos demonstrate MMA’s commitment to offering personalised, high-quality service, reinforcing the trust and loyalty of its customers and members.(1)

Supporting today’s entrepreneurs as they prepare their businesses for the challenges ahead
The MMA Future Entrepreneurs Foundation supports the ethical and responsible entrepreneurial drive that is at work in our local regions. It champions a proactive and optimistic view of the future by placing entrepreneurs and their ecosystems at the heart of both its ideas and its scope of action.
The MMA Foundation believes in:
- people and their indomitable entrepreneurial spirit,
- the value of teamwork,
- the importance of entrepreneurial networks to local economies.
Four fields of action:
- Support research into entrepreneurship
The MMA Foundation is behind numerous studies and academic partnerships, first among them its annual survey of the health of business leaders. This scientific content makes a vital contribution to strategic reflections on entrepreneurship and local areas. - Nurture innovative initiatives
The MMA Foundation backs and nurtures innovative and emerging initiatives. They all target the same goal: promoting ethical and responsible entrepreneurship in local areas, economic development and regional attractiveness. - Share robust content
Each month, the MMA Foundation produces a range of content on topics of interest to business owners and leaders. Content is shared almost every day, backed by comprehensive guides created in collaboration with partners and experts, together with regular newsletters. - Foster meetings and discussion between entrepreneurs in local areas
Working with national and local entrepreneurs’ networks and the French Chambers of Commerce and Industry, the MMA Foundation goes out to meet entrepreneurs all over the country, through presentations, workshops, networking sessions and round tables.
We firmly believe that entrepreneurship is all about the people. It has strong roots in our local regions, and is currently in flux. That is why the Foundation has a local presence, alongside the country’s entrepreneurs.
We believe in local community spirit as a vital enabler of growth and transformation. Business leaders are visionaries, with an impressive ability to adapt. But when they build a network, share their experiences and have a supportive ecosystem to rely on, they can go even further. There are opportunities to be explored collectively in relation to mental and physical health, women entrepreneurs, the ecological transition, artificial intelligence, passing on businesses and other issues.
The Foundation aims to offer resources, forums for discussion and useful insights, and above all to build bridges between the drivers of change: our Future Entrepreneurs.
The MMA Future Entrepreneurs Foundation is continuing its work in 2025, with an even stronger presence in the regions and active support for the entrepreneurship ecosystem:
- 75 events organised or supported right across France. These events take the form of presentations, workshops, round tables and tours dedicated to specific topics.
- The annual survey of the health of leaders of micro, small and medium-sized businesses. Published for the 11th time in June 2025, it included a focus on substance use.
- Active support for research and innovation, in partnership with bodies working in the field such as Labex Entreprendre, Transmission Lab, the Entreprendre Foundation, MEDEF Vendée, Institut de la Transformation Climat, Nemow Lab, Ronalpia and Initiative Île-de-France.
- An even more comprehensive content strategy, with in 2024:
- more than 50,400 visits to the Foundation’s website,
- a social media community of more than 17,000 followers,
- 285 articles published and passed on via the newsletter, offering useful insights into the economic, social and people-focused changes affecting entrepreneurs.
